Bachelorette's Katie Thurston Is Engaged: Get a Status Update on Bachelor Nation Couples

Katie Talks Finding "Love" at "The Bachelorette" Tell-All

Katie Thurston has handed out her final rose.

Monday, Aug. 9 marked the finale for season 17 of The Bachelorette and, in typical Bachelor Nation fashion, there was plenty of drama to enjoy. Nonetheless, this season's leading lady Katie still got her happy ending thanks to a proposal by Blake Moynes.

"The night that you said that you loved me changed my life forever," Katie gushed before handing off the last boutonnière. "Because I knew in that moment, I wanted to love you for the rest of my life. You and only you. You have made me the happiest woman alive."

However, as Bachelor Nation knows all too well, not all Bachelor/ette pairings are meant to last. In fact, once Bachelorette success story J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert called it quits in October 2020. And their love story came to anofficial end in July when J.P. filed for divorce from Ashley.

Still, some couples have weathered through the storm and stuck it out. Case in point: First-ever Bachelorette Trista Sutter is still married to her final rose recipient, Ryan Sutter

The Bachelorette Season 17 finale will finally reveal Katie Thurston’s winner on Aug. 9, and many fans are wondering about the couple’s current relationship status. Following the “Men Tell All,” some viewers questioned whether the lead ended up with one of her suitors. So recently, Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve updated spoilers on Katie’s final pick on The Bachelorette — here’s everything you need to know.

[Spoiler alert: This article contains potential spoilers about Katie Thurston’s winner in The Bachelorette 2021 finale.]

Who could win Katie Thurston’s heart in ‘The Bachelorette’ 2021 finale?

The Bachelorette Season 17 left Katie’s ending up in the air. For weeks, many fans thought that Katie would end up with Greg Grippo. But in the last episode, the frontrunner sent himself home, and the breakup didn’t exactly go smoothly. So it’s unlikely the final chapter will include a reconciliation between the two reality stars

Now, it seems Katie is still reeling from her split with Greg going into The Bachelorette finale. But Blake Moynes and Justin Glaze are still on the show, which means one of the contestants could still win the lead’s heart. So will Justin or Blake get engaged to Katie? Will Katie end up alone? Only time will tell at this point.

Don’t fret if you don’t want to wait to find out Katie’s winner in The Bachelorette finale. Reality Steve already shared spoilers about the ending.

On June 23, Reality Steve claimed that Katie got engaged to Blake at the end of her Bachelorette season. But some viewers wondered about Katie’s relationship status as the finale got closer.

Following The Bachelorette Season 17 “Men Tell All,” a few Bachelor Nation fans theorized that Katie’s social media posts meant she was single. They also questioned whether Michael Allio’s comments on the lead’s Instagram meant she wasn’t still together with her rumored final pick. However, Reality Steve updated his spoilers about Katie and Blake on Aug. 4.

“I’m here to tell you that no matter what Katie has posted, whether it was meant as some sort of misdirection or not, nothing has changed,” Reality Steve wrote. “Katie and Blake are still engaged, they’re happy, and you will see that come next week when the finale airs. Does it mean they will 100% get married and stay together until one of them dies? No.”

The blogger continued, “I have no idea what their long term future is. But for those thinking Katie’s posts all mean something or she’s sending people a message she’s single or whatever – she’s not. They’re happy and engaged.”

Whether Blake and Katie’s ending aligns with Reality Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers, it seems the lead is happy with her ending. When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of her premiere in June, Katie revealed how she really felt about her journey.

“I found love more than once, I’ll say that,” Katie said at the time. “Through it all, everything happens for a reason, and I am happy.”

Update: In The Bachelorette finale on Aug. 9, Katie and Blake got engaged. They are still together now.

Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette is down to her final three men, which means the end is totally in sight! Finally! But if you’re the kinda person who wants to know exactly what happens in the finale way before ABC is willing to tell you, good news: We’ve got spoilers. Actually, lemme go ahead and bold this info for good measure:

SPOILERS (and some intriguing behind-the-scenes info) about Katie’s season of The Bachelorette are ahead. If you’re cool with that, please proceed!

Katie Leaves the Show Engaged

And yep, we know who won! According to Reality Steve, Blake Moynes is the winner of Katie’s Bachelorette season...and they leave the show fully engaged. Here’s exactly what Steve said ahead of Blake’s arrival, since you know you want specifics:

“Katie is engaged to Blake Moynes. Yes, I know, he’s not on the show yet. But he will be next week...sure, I expect there to be doubt like every season. All I can say is it’s been about a 7 week process since filming ended to get this info, and I’m very confident in what I’ve been told.”

This makes total sense, FYI—just before the season’s premiere, Katie did say that she has every intention of leaving the show on track to get hitched! In an interview with Us Weekly, she explained,“I just know where I’m at in life, and it really shows how serious I am about falling in love and finding my person. And if the thought of being engaged scares you, then you’re not ready to be with me.”

In the meantime, though, Katie has been doing an awesome job not wearing any kind of ring on her engagement finger, which you can see riiight here:

Instagram

Speaking of Engagement, Katie’s Final Four Are…

According to Reality Steve, Katie’s final men are winner Blake Moynes, along with Greg Grippo, Michael Allio, and Justin Glaze:

John Hersey was initially on Reality Steve’s list of the final four contestants, but he ended up getting eliminated by week three. Bummer! Steve also later confirmed that Andrew isn’t engaged to Katie by the time he leaves the show. “I’m sorry if you spent a half hour watching some guy break down the season promo and deduce that Andrew was the winner this season—he’s not. That I can confirm to you. So now only 3 possibilities—Justin, Blake, and Greg,” he wrote at the time.

Andrew Spencer was also initially one of the men in the top four, but Reality Steve later explained he mixed up the order of Andrew and Michael. “I had Andrew and Michael A. flip flopped. Andrew finished 5th with Michael finishing 4th. When I reported that back in May on Michael A., the one thing I knew was that his family never met Katie. So I made the assumption he didn’t finish top 4 since, well, top 4 get hometowns. I made the wrong assumption there on his placement. He finishes 4th, BUT, his family doesn’t meet Katie. At the beginning of next weeks episode, we’ll see Michael self eliminate because of his son, and Katie never meets his family,” he said in a new spoiler post.

Greg and Katie Get Into a Huge Fight

And the fight is so bad that Greg actually leaves the season before the finale! According to Reality Steve, Greg wanted to confront Katie because he “felt he got some sort of assurance from Katie he was the one or felt he’d be picked, yet he couldn’t understand why she was still involved with other men.”

If you’re wondering how this will all play out, just know that it won’t be “pretty.” Steve actually calls it a literal “meltdown.” He also reports that “this is basically a fight that they have. A fight that kinda goes back and forth. He talks to her, leaves, then she goes to talk to him, then one storms off, and it just keeps going. I’ve been told the two of them kept going back and forth at each other for hours.'”

This reported “blowout fight” in between the overnight dates and causes Greg to pack his bags and leave the show. Per Steve, “Greg is having a real hard time understanding why she’d want to be with anyone else, and it escalates from there. So much so I’ve been told ‘It’s the worst fight we’ve ever seen on this show.’” Yikes.

Katie Ended Her Season Early

Before you automatically jump to the conclusion that she pulled a Clare Crawley, hear me—er, I mean, Us Weekly—out. Apparently, “Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn’t interested in, she sent packing,” and there was not a single issue to be had because it “went great and it wrapped a week ahead of schedule.”

Kaitlyn, Tayshia, and Katie all seemingly confirmed they ended the season early because they also posted snaps hinting they were on their way home and/or no longer on-set.

And in case you’re wondering how Kaitlyn and Tayshia did as first-time cohosts, Us Weekly’s source gave them a glowing review: “Tayshia and Kaitlyn can relate to Katie’s journey in a lot of different ways, which you’ll see play out, so it was nice to have them there to help out with whatever situation came up….Tayshia had fun and loved doing it. She and Kaitlyn made a great team.”

A Bunch of Katie’s Contestants Are on Bachelor in Paradise This Year

Aaron Clancy, Thomas Jacobs, Karl Smith, and James Bonsall are all heading to paradise this year. Check out the rest of the contestants here:

Although Thomas was the season villain, he actually ends up getting a major storyline on BiP because—surprise!—he ends up dating former Bachelorette Becca Kufin! “(BIP SPOILER): If you thought Thomas got a lot of airtime this season, just wait till Paradise. Thomas is heavily involved with Becca Kufrin for the last half of ˆ, but, she eventually breaks up with him before the finale,” Reality Steve wrote on Twitter.

ABC Initially Went Back and Forth Over Casting Katie

Reality Steve was, unsurprisingly, the first to announce Katie’s casting news, but after the Rachael Kirkconnell and Chris Harrison controversy broke, he posted an update to his blog announcing that Katie would not be the Bachelorette:

“Katie was originally going to be the Bachelorette, and once the shit hit the fan with the franchise the last couple weeks, the course of action changed, and they are now in discussions on who to go with. All I’ve heard is it won’t be Katie now.”

A little over a week after the above mess, Steve once again confirmed that Katie actually *was* set to be the Bachelorette…again! “The more things change, the more they stay the same. The original spoiler I reported seems to be correct. Katie Thurston is set to be announced as the Bachelorette in the coming days,” he wrote on Twitter.

Katie’s Season Was Originally Going to Film in Canada, but the Location Also Changed

Canada was supposed to be the filming location for The Bachelorette…that is, until the production team changed its mind. (I’m sensing a trend here.) In late January, Steve gave his followers intel on Twitter, writing, “The resort for Bachelorette filming in Canada next season might be at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta.”

Less than a month later, Steve corrected those rumors and confirmed that The Bachelorette’s upcoming season will take place in the United States, specifically in New Mexico at Albuquerque’s Hyatt Regency Tamaya.

Clare Crawley shares update after shocking episode of ‘The Bachelorette’ l GMA

It's a Bachelorette season—or should I say seasons?—like no other. In 2021, Katie Thurston is the first of two Bachelorettes, followed in the fall by fellow Matt James contestant Michelle Young. You'll remember Katie, whose season premiered June 7, 2021 and will end August 9, as the straight talker who wasn't afraid to put the other girls in their place—and as the girl who hilariously brought a vibrator to meet Matt on night one. If you're here because you're wondering if Katie got engaged—or if you just crave spoilers in general—you're in the right place.

First, some context: Thurston's season comes at a turbulent time for the Bachelor franchise. As the first Black Bachelor, Matt James's season was meant to be historic—but instead, it was marred by bullying and, later, the racist social media activity of James's winner Rachael Kirkconnell. (They broke up, but it seems they're back together now.) Chris Harrison went on Extra to defend Kirkconnell's behavior—something even Kirkconnell had begged people not to do—and tried to mansplain the situation to former Bachelorette, and Black woman, Rachel Lindsay. (Lindsay has now said she's removing herself entirely from the franchise). Harrison was suspended as host, which is why he isn't on Thurston's season—her hosts are former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe—nor on Bachelor in Paradise. The day after Thurston's season began airing, ABC confirmed that Harrison will not be returning to the franchise at all.

Ahead, everything you wanted to know about Katie Thurston's season, start to finish. Spoilers ahead, obviously.

Does Katie get engaged?

Let's get straight to the big question, shall we? Namely, did Katie find the man of her dreams on her season and get engaged to him?

Yes, she did! Per Reality Steve: "Katie definitely got engaged at the end of this. And unless she breaks up before the finale, which I guess anything can happen, but she’s happy and engaged as we speak, so I’d expect that to last til the finale you’d think."

Reality Steve is usually, but not always, correct about his end-of-his season predictions. But even outside of that, we know that filming ended a week ahead of schedule. Obviously, we don't know why—but it's possible that Thurston was so certain about her decision that she didn't want to waste any time.

Katie, for her part, revealed to The Hollywood Reporter: “I found love more than once, I’ll say that! Through it all, everything happens for a reason, and I am happy.”

Craig SjodinGetty Images

And even though Katie ends up engaged (more on who she gets engaged to in a minute), the ending may be...messy. “The end gets crazy. It’s, like, not traditional at all. And I’m like, ‘What the f—k is happening?’" Katie said on Nick Viall's podcast. She also said she got her "heart broken." Speaking to Us, she said: “I don’t think that this has ever happened. I’ll say that. So it’s a first, for sure. And a shocking ending."

Says Reality Steve: "We know who she eventually ends up with, but how she gets there is another story. Seems like it’s gonna be pretty messy."

Who wins Katie's season?

The even bigger question! Her final four are:

  • Justin Glaze
  • Michael Allio
  • Greg Grippo
  • Blake Moynes

Allio self-eliminated to be with his son, and Grippo dramatically stormed out after a meltdown that many Bachelor fans–and Katie herself–described as "gaslighting." Which left Justin and Blake as Katie's final two men.

And the winner of Katie's Bachelorette season, according to Reality Steve, is...

Blake Moynes.

Craig SjodinGetty Images

Moynes, of course, was a contestant on the last season of The Bachelorette, falling first for Clare Crawley and then for Tayshia Adams. You'll remember Crawley left her own season to be with Dale Moss, leaving Moynes heartbroken—and Adams ultimately rejected him too. Meaning that Moynes gets engaged to Katie (yay!) while his ex watches (oof).

Some in Bachelor Nation have questioned Moynes ~intentions~. Said Nick Viall on Us Weekly's podcast about The Bachelor: "Blake is going to get crap, obviously, for someone who fell in love with Clare without validation, fell in love with Tayshia, without validation. So, when he’s [saying], ‘I’m in love with Katie,’ it’s fair to question.”

Craig SjodinGetty Images

Craig SjodinGetty Images

One thing is certain: Thurston and Moynes were in communication before her season. "I definitely knew who he was, which also Tayshia’s ex-boyfriend! So that’s weird," Thurston told Us Weekly. "We had chatted before, but usually what happens is, like, the guys will reach out to the women once they’re eliminated and be like, ‘Good luck, you did great.’ Like very generic, you know? And so to see him, I was like, ‘Why is he here?’ Like, ‘What’s happening?’"

She went into more detail on the Chicks in the Office podcast. “I will say coming off my season with Matt, people were really shipping [Blake] and I before...So I was a little familiar with who he was and his background.” But she was still thrown when he showed up, she added. "I was shocked. I was not expecting that at all."

As for Moynes, he's said of the exchange: "It was right after her first episode, it was right away...She came out of that limo with that vibrator, I was like, ‘Yeah, I like what she’s about.' It was a simple reach out,” he told Us Weekly. "It was like, ‘I f–king love that you did that. That was f–king awesome, like, good for you,’ this and that...When I actually reached out that first time, after the first episode, her responses were very cold back. She was nice, but she didn't open up her dialogue in any way. It was shut down right then and there."

But what about Katie and Michael?

Michael Allio made the final four, but self-eliminated to be with his son in a bittersweet moment that saw fans clamoring for him to be the next Bachelor. (Michael, for his part, told People: "I have to think about what it would be like to get engaged in and introduce someone to my son in such a quick timeframe. I'm not sold on the idea.")

Although Reality Steve is certain that Katie is happily engaged to Blake, there have been hints that things may not be completely over between Michael and Katie: In late July, he left a very thirsty comment on a lingerie photo that Katie posted—"Can't say what I'd like to," he wrote, alongside an embarrassed emoji and two flame emojis—which is interesting. He then promptly deleted the comment. Plus, Ben Higgins told E: "I think [Michael] was 'the one,' if he was around...At the end of all this, if it doesn't end in that one true love that she's been talking about, I think they're going to try."

It does seem like Katie is not single, for what it's worth: She tweeted: "Woke up this morning and realized I used toy cleaner instead of lube last night," on July 30.

And what about Katie and Greg?

During the overnight date portion of the season, Grippo turned into a late-stage villain. Weeks earlier, on Viall's podcast, Katie had hinted that there would be another villain towards the end of the show: "I tried to get rid of the villains. I tried to get rid of them... ‘Boom, boom, boom, go,’ and then they just keep reappearing."

Craig SjodinGetty Images

After the episode aired, Katie wrote on Twitter: "Thank you for the virtual hugs tonight." Katie also shared to her Instagram Stories a guide to gaslighting, implying that she—and plenty of Bachelor Nation—believed that was what Grippo had been doing:

Other Bachelor alums weighed in on the fight between Grippo and Thurston. Bekah Martinez, from Arie's season, wrote: “I know he opened up to her and she said ‘the wrong thing’ but shutting down emotionally being like, ‘wut, nothing’s wrong why would you think that’ and then punishing with silence is emotional manipulation 101."

The men on Katie's season were divided. Andrew Spencer, who was on Katie's season, wrote on Twitter: "Most importantly hope they get to smooth things over they’re two very good humans with a lot of great moments together.” John Hersey wrote on Instagram: "Watching these actions get defended (and therefore normalized) strikes me as extremely unhealthy and a step in the wrong direction." And Connor Brennan wrote: “There was no gaslighting in this episode, there was a fight between two people that you saw maybe 20 percent of."

Craig SjodinGetty Images

What'll happen on After the Final Rose?

Co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe had strong words about Grippo's exit. On the Click Bait podcast, she said: "He just wanted to quit before he got fired...I think his ego was so hurt in that moment that he was like, ‘I’m gonna just flip this sh*t and get out of here." And in regard to Grippo's acting background, which has caused some controversy among Bachelor Nation, her co-host Tayshia Adams said, “That will be addressed. So just wait.”

Adams is talking about After the Final Rose, which will feature a "tense confrontation" between Greg and Katie, according to an ABC press release. In the teaser, we see Katie tell him, “I don’t think you know what love is.”

It's likely to be an explosive confrontation. After Greg's exit, Madi Prewett from Peter's season wrote, in a seemingly unrelated tweet: "Never trust your tongue when your heart is wounded. Hush until you heal"—and Katie replied on Twitter: "should have read this before AFTR" and a side-eye emoji.

Bachelorette update the

Every Bachelor and Bachelorette Couple: Where Are They Now?

The Bachelor season 24 pair were over before their finale ever aired.

After James chose not to propose on his finale - based on hesitancy to rush into marriage - past social media posts of Kirkconnell's surfaced that showed her wearing Native American attire as a costume and dressed up at a 2018 antebellum-themed party. Though she apologized, on the After the Final Rose special in March 2021, James explained why the two were no longer together, despite professing love for one another on their finale.

"As Rachael acknowledged in her apology, there's a lot of work that needs to be done. I have to take a step back and allow her to put in that work," said James. "And I'm looking forward to seeing her put in that work."

He added, "If you don't understand that something like that is problematic in 2018, there's a lot of me that you won't understand. And it's as simple as that."

Later in the conversation, he shared, "The most disappointing thing for me was having to explain to you why what I saw was problematic and why I was so upset. When I questioned our relationship, it was on the context of you not fully understanding my Blackness, and what it means to be a Black man in America. And what it would mean for our kids when I saw those things that were floating around the internet."

However, in late April, he told PEOPLE he and Kirkconnell were working things out, explaining, "I'm not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that."

Since rekindling their romance, the couple told PEOPLE in July that they have worked hard to reach a good place in their relationship, overcoming obstacles amid fierce criticism.

"I will say that, you know, of course it was difficult in the moment, but just being able to step back and work on our relationship to assess," Kirkconnell said. "Taking a moment away from the spotlight's been really good for us. It's been a lot better."

Clare Crawley shares update after shocking episode of ‘The Bachelorette’ l GMA

When it comes to forming lasting relationships, The Bachelorette is running circles (or should we say “rings”?) around The Bachelor.

The female-led spinoff of ABC’s reality franchise has had a much higher success rate at producing couples that actually stay together than the original: While The Bachelor has only seen one (!) final couple get married and stay married, The Bachelorette has had four marriages among their final couples, with several more currently engaged as well. (So are women just better than men at picking the best match for themselves when faced with a couple dozen options? Yeah, probably.)

But that doesn’t mean every Bachelorette fairy tale had a happy ending. In fact, most of them ended in heartbreak. With Katie about to make her final choice between Blake and Justin (and Greg, maybe!) on the Bachelorette season finale this Monday (ABC, 8/7c), we’re taking a stroll down memory lane and seeing which Bachelorette couples stayed together long enough to walk down the aisle… and which ones didn’t even make it past the After the Final Rose reunion special.

Read on for our comprehensive list of each Bachelorette and the man who received her final rose, in order of how long they stayed together, from shortest to longest. (And if you’re looking for the same list for The Bachelor, we’ve got you covered — click here.)

  • Katie was so decisive handing out roses and sending villains home that filming finished one week early with a non-traditional ending.
  • Reality Steve spilled all the tea on the last rose ceremony, if Katie gets engaged, and who wins.

If you can believe it, the new season of The Bachelorette is almost complete. Yep, that is what all that buzz is about as the finale approaches. (FYI, it's August 9, 2021 starting at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.) Filming in a COVID-safe bubble has kept the journey rolling right along, but it still doesn't guarantee the suitors will stick around.

Bachelorette Katie Thurston helped keep everything ahead of schedule. She wrapped filming with all her husband hopefuls one whole week early, according to Us Weekly. That doesn't mean her journey had zero drama, though. (Btw, she gets paid a $ salary for the ups and downs of her Bachelorette journey.) It was another closed bubble set, but everything you need to know about the finale and an engagement is out thanks to Reality Steve.

ICYDK, Reality Steve has spoiled the ending of The Bachelor,The Bachelorette, and its various spinoffs for years. His spoilers are spot-on basically every. single. time. And he fixes any discrepancies, like Katie's new final four suitors, asap. (Noteworthy exception: He didn't pinpoint Bachelor Peter Weber's chosen co-pilot until the end of the season, but to be fair, the pilot didn't either.)

With that said, what exactly is going down now on The Bachelorette? And did she find love—or not? Allow me to fill in all the blanks RN.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. Do not keep reading if you don’t want to know what happens during Season 17 of The Bachelorette before it airs on ABC!

Did Katie quit her Bachelorette season?

The promos certainly show her considering an exit. You also already know filming wrapped early, but it's not a Clare riding off into the sunset with Dale situation again. (Or at least it doesn't appear to be.) Katie was simply decisive. "Katie was in control and made sure the men she wanted were there and the men she wasn’t interested in, she sent packing," an insider source told Us Weekly.

Overall filming for season 17 “went great and it wrapped a week ahead of schedule."

Former Bachelor and Katie's ex Matt James had all positive things to say about her as the lead. "I think that she's going to be one of the best to ever do it, and it's not going to be a surprise to me as we watch everyone across the country fall in love with her," he told E! News. "I should've [asked] Katie for advice! She's incredible. She's going to do so well, and I'm excited for her to have this space to find her person."

But, Kaitlyn Bristowe had juicier intel: "I’m definitely not going to say much because I don’t wanna get in trouble, but I mean, maybe I can say it’s the most dramatic season yet," Kaitlyn said on the April 29th episode of her "Off the Vine" podcast. “I think it’s going to be really fun."

Does Greg come back?

The previews show more Greg, but that doesn't mean he's pulling a boomerang and returning to the set. Reality Steve has said his post-fight exit is legit.

Greg Grippo has been the frontrunner from day one, with the first impression rose, first one-on-one date, and plenty of other signs Katie was super into him. That all came to a screeching halt during hometowns. Reality Steve's Greg intel revealed it all:

"They have a blowout fight during the overnight dates which essentially causes him to leave the show and it upsets Katie a lot. Maybe she really was set to pick him but saw this side and realized better. But nothing about this fight is going to look good for Greg from everything I’ve been told. I do not know if some ultimatum was made, and I hate to pin the Luke P. label on him as well since I don’t know exactly what was said."

What the spoiler king does know: "Greg is having a real hard time understanding why she’d want to be with anyone else, and it escalates from there... So yeah, they edited it this way on purpose to “surprise” you for what’s ahead – basically a 180 from the Greg we’ve seen up to this point."

"So that’s 'what happens' with Greg and what causes him to ultimately leave the show at that point."

That's two weeks in a row Katie has had frontrunners self-eliminate. Michael Allio self-eliminated right before Katie got a chance to meet his fam.

Where is The Bachelorette filming?

The whole season, hometowns, overnight dates, and the finale all film in one schnazzy desert resort. In case you haven't honed in on the beauty shots of the property, The Bachelorette is filming and staying at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa about 20 min outside of Albuquerque. It sits on 550 acres of the Native American Santa Ana Pueblo between the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande River.

The property has tons of date opportunities. There's horseback riding, equestrian yoga offerings, cycling, hot air ballooning, jeep tours, hiking, fly fishing, and much more. It also has three pools, five restaurants, tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, and the Tamaya Mist Spa & Salon.

If you checked out Tayshia's Instagram and outings with Zac, you may have gotten some potential date previews.

The blogger confirmed the new bubble set location in February. Everyone was supposed to jet up to Canada to start filming at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, but new COVID-19 precautions put a stop to that in February. "Due to the updated quarantine restrictions in Canada laid out last week, I’ve been told 'Bachelorette' will NOT be filming there next season anymore," Reality Steve tweeted.

What else happens on Katie's season as The Bachelorette?

The "sex positive" theme continues through the season to absolutely nobody's surprise. (TBD if she and her suitors will need more safe words.) Steve explains how that plays out: "They’ve already started the season with a tagline “See what the buzz is all about,” which is in reference to Katie bringing the vibrator night 1 of Matt’s season.... I can also tell you there’s a group date this season where the guys have to show their “sex moves.” So yeah, any thought that this franchise was gonna move away from the sex themed dates, or numerous sexual innuendos we see season and season out, well, you can throw that idea out the window this season. There will be plenty of talk and dates that are sexual in nature. The sex thing is played up more so than normal this season from what I’m being told."

And, Katie's talking about all those makeouts. "Seeing the promos, I am making out with a lot of guys!" she told People. "You never really see yourself kissing anyone. So it's like, 'Oh boy.'"

She continued: "Time is short. And you can't be okay with me possibly getting engaged in two months but not kissing on the first date. I've got to use my time wisely!"

Katie's not shying away from chatting Fantasy Suites, either. "We're all adults," she told the publication. "I have sex! It's an important part of the relationship in terms of the connection. But it is also our time to talk about important topics or any lingering conversations."

Who's hosting The Bachelorette?

There are two hosts along for Katie's whole journey to announce all the drama all the way through the After the Final Rose special. The longtime host Chris Harrison is taking time away away from the franchise following his controversial interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay.

Former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe stepped in to help during season 17. They have been rocking the roles and are returning to host Michelle Young's Bachelorette season next.

The former leads aren't the permanent new hosts.“The way that it’s been presented on the set is that Tayshia and Kaitlyn are not replacing Chris. They aren’t even referred to as hosts. It was made perfectly clear by the producers that they are not replacing him. They were brought in at the last moment,” a source told Us Weekly in April. “Their role is more experienced girlfriends to Katie and experienced contestants to the guys. They act professional, they’re on time and are helping the franchise as much as they can in this funky situation.”

"In his absence, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will support the new Bachelorette through next season. As we continue the dialogue around achieving greater equity and inclusion within The Bachelor franchise, we are dedicated to improving the BIPOC representation of our crew, including executive producer ranks."

To no one's surprise, they were top-notch hosts. "Tayshia and Kaitlyn can relate to Katie’s journey in a lot of different ways, which you’ll see play out, so it was nice to have them there to help out with whatever situation came up," an insider source told Us Weekly. “Tayshia had fun and loved doing it. She and Kaitlyn made a great team.”

When did ABC film The Bachelorette?

All the cast and crew started quarantining in early March and filming continued through the weekend of April 24. There's still a lot not officially announced, but they started right on schedule and ended with time to spare.

"They’re already there, like, at least they’re quarantining for it. There’s no pause on it," former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay revealed on the "Bachelor Party" podcast on March 9.

Btw, if you couldn't figure out why Katie seemed cold during the evenings, I gotchu. It's actually pretty chilly in New Mexico in March and April, especially at night. The average lows hover around or below freezing.

Who are the villains this season?

You've met and Katie dispatched Thomas Jacobs, Aaron Clancy and Cody Menk, and Hunter Montgomery, who all made the villain list at some point. They also rehashed all the drama at the Men Tell All special.

Well, Katie gave a not-so-subtle hint that Greg is actually the biggest villain this season. When she appeared on Nick Viall's podcast, she said there is a villain worse than Thomas on her season. "Pretty sure it’s Greg," according to Reality Steve. Why? Oh that meltdown and giant fight that results in his exit. Katie also shared a link to an explanation of "gaslighting" in her IG stories, in case her views weren't already clear.

She wasn't the first to hint at Greg's indiscretions. "Someone is really going out of their way to come after Greg," Steve warns in his recent blog post. "So it’s really hard to know what to believe when it comes to him."

"The only thing known absolutely 100% for sure is that Greg attended acting school for 2 years in NY and graduated that school in 2019," he added." I’m sure that’ll make some skeptical of his motives, which you have a right to."

Reality Steve does have some thoughts of his own on Greg: "By the way, Greg Grippo sounds like the name of a TV villain in the 80’s, doesn’t it? “Oh, you don’t wanna trust Greg Grippo. He’s shady.” It’s bad enough the whole show has revolved around him for the first two episodes, but I just can’t shake the 80’s hair and almost-too-good-to-be-true villainous name. I half expect to see him with his collar popped bullying kids at the lunch table next week. There have been a ton of guys over the years in 17 seasons of the “Bachelorette” that have appeared. I can’t think of one who has a more evil, he’ll-steal-your-girlfriend name than Greg Grippo. If you have any other suggestions, I’m all ears."

And, the villains are all gone by the overnight dates and finale.

What happens during Fantasy Suites?

Following hometowns, it seems only Justin and Blake make it to the week of overnight dates, according to Reality Steve's latest update.

Here's Blake:

The cameras may not be able to capture what happens behind the closed doors, but Katie opened up to Women's Health about what went down during her overnight dates.

"I'm gonna say it because everyone always wants to know, 'did you have sex?' Yes, I had sex," Katie told WH. "I think it's important to have a physical connection, and people need to be okay talking about it because sex is normal."

Who wins the final rose and does Katie get engaged?

Drum roll please. Katie picks Blake Moynes. "I just know that Katie got engaged to Blake at the end of filming and they're still together."

"How we get to a Blake proposal in the end after that, we’ll just have to see play out. So it’s definitely not a traditional ending as Katie says, and once Greg leaves after this blowup, I’m sure there’s some weirdness on how Katie continues on because clearly she was into him and I’m sure she wasn’t expecting this blowout to happen. Stay tuned. Should be good."

Reality Steve confirmed that Katie gets engaged in the finale weeks ago. He wrote: "Katie is engaged." Now, everyone knows who got down on one knee, too.

He's been cautious about getting the deets. "All I can say is it’s been about a 7 week process since filming ended to get this info, and I’m very confident in what I’ve been told."

Katie has been teasing fans about a possible ring on that finger on Instagram since she returned from filming. She shared a short clip joking about her family looking for an engagement ring in her stories. Sure enough, her left hand is jewel-free. The New Found Glory song "All Downhill From Here" plays in the background: "You're hiding something, 'cause it's burning through your eyes"

But, don't read too much into her post-show antics on social, per Steve. "Katie and Blake are engaged and are happy. Nothing has changed. People can read into the social media stuff and dissect it until they’re blue in the face. It will get them nowhere. They’re engaged." That latest update comes on August 4, so Katie and Blake have been together for a solid three months and counting at this point.

It looks like fans won't get a spoiler straight from her anytime soon, though.
